We hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and the New Year is moving forward as you had hoped. We've had may changes to the store, most of which I will discuss later. De Vine Water

One of the major changes to De Vine Vintners is that we became the local Authorized Dealer of MineralPRO water filtration systems. You may have read the huge newspaper spread on January 10th in the Morning Star. MineralPRO filter systems give you piece of mind on your drinking water. To help accommodate this we have created a separate division in De Vine Vintners called De Vine Water. You will hear ads on the radio up to February 13 in which we are holding our Grand Opening and Open House. You can come see the new systems as well as smell and taste the water.

As most of you are familiar with, we will be having our ever popular discount wheel in production. You can receive up to 25% off your purchase of filter systems and accessories. MineralPRO is also supplying a filter system to give away in a free draw. Come on out. KissFM will be on location from 10am until 2pm. We have awesome appetizers from Cafe' Continental. Come on down to check things out.

Specials

Also on Saturday February 13th, we will be having a one day only 15% off the following wines (25% off 8 week). Something for everyone; both 4 and 6 week red and white, and an 8 week white.

8 week Okanagan Pinot Blanc

Light golden in colour, this wine is crisp and lively, with citrus and pineapple, delicate mineral notes and a finish hinting of honey and apricots. This wine can be drank young, but will open up considerably after one year of age, showing more developed flavours of stone fruit and minerals, thus gaining texture and complexity.

6 week Australian Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvèdre

The blending of these three grapes is a classic, originating in the South of France where Côtes du Rhone and Chateauneuf du Pape concentrate on these varieties. The three grapes together make for a blend of length, power, and fruitiness and above all, balanced intensity of flavour.

6 week Chilean Sauvignon Blanc

A gorgeous nose of honeydew, peach and gooseberry is followed by a silky palate with white peach and mineral flavors and a long finish. Bright, crisp and inviting at three months it's refreshingly complex and tropical, and will develop notes of basil and mint with age.

4 week South African Chenin Blanc

Chenin Blanc is a late ripening grape, which brings intense flavour development. Unusual for a grape that hangs so long, it retains crisp acidity, underpinning bright flavours of green apple, tropical fruit and melons, with distinctly floral nose and a juicy, quenching finish.

4 week Italian Barolo

Medium in body with a dark cherry colour, this Barolo has rich, spicy fruit and delivers the true character of the grape and land. Typical flavours are cherries, violets, black licorice, truffles and finishes with rich, chewy, deep and long-lasting flavour. This wine is for those seeking intensity and complexity.

Sanitizing Area Change

Also to help keep you on your toes, we have moved things around a bit in sanitizer machine area. We have eliminated one of the sinks in the back and moved the counter and machines around by 90 degrees. This opened up the area in the back considerably to allow for future projects.

Limited Edition News

The Limited Edition crop is in a full swing of fermentation. A few of the early ones have already been bottled. We ordered a few extra of each this year, so hurry down to claim the extras, if you missed out on the ordering process.
