Open House and Customer Appreciation DayOur annual Open House and Customer Appreciation Day will be held a little earlier than normal this year. We have moved it up to August 21st. Please mark this day on your calendars. It will be bigger and better than ever. We have moved this up to help accomodate our second annual Limited Edition wine tasting that will take place mid October. HST is upon us.As you know the HST kicks in July 1st. The rules of the service on this is that if more than 90% of the work is done after July 1st, the HST needs to be charged. What this means is that any wine, cooler, or beer ordered and started on or after June 24th will have the HST applied. This adds up to an incremental $2.80 for wine, $3.15 for coolers and $3.71 for beer. If you want to avoid this extra charge, you need to come in PRIOR to June 24th to order your wine. Please bring 31 bottles....As you know you generally get anywhere from 29 1/2 bottles to 30 1/2 bottles of wine per batch. In the past, when you only brought in 29 bottles, we would give you enough used bottles to be able to bottle all your wine. We will still do that, but it will be a new bottle and will cost you a dollar for each bottle. We are no long stocking used bottles. Sorry for this inconvenience. |
